‘Design for Life’Posted: 8 August 2018
It’s such a great motto to live by, isn’t it!
‘Design for Life: Grant and Mary Featherston’, is now showing at Heide Museum of Modern Art, until 7 October 2018. To coincide with the exhibition, I’m highlighting the Featherston pieces which are currently for sale on the website, including a ‘Scape’ Lounge Chair and a rare desk. These desirable pieces are getting harder to come by, and will continue hold their value into the future.
And if it’s Australian Mid-Century you’re after, I also have a selection of 1950’s and 1960’s furniture and lighting to help you complete that look.
Since going online I’ve had great feedback, both about the site, and also the customer experience. I feel privileged to have a customer base that continues to support my store, and are so positive and enthusiastic about my curated online space. A big thank you to you all!
Stay tuned for my next blog post, where I will be announcing some exciting news about my next retail adventure. Based in Melbourne, it will showcase many of my pieces, and allow for closer inspection and purchase. This will complement the Mode 707 online store.
Until next time, cheers,
