Mode 707 launches online!

Posted: 12 June 2018

Well it’s been a busy few months.

As many of you would know, in January I closed the Mode 707 bricks and mortar store in Smith Street, Collingwood after 5 incredible years. During that time, the business grew into a premier retail outlet, presenting high quality furniture, lighting and decorative arts from the last century.

It has been a great pleasure in meeting so many passionate people through Mode 707, and thanks to you all, I have established strong relationships with both Corporate and Private Clients, and also some of the country’s most renowned Interior Designers. Many of the pieces I sold through the store ended up on the cover of Australian magazines such as Artichoke and Vogue Living.

For those of you that visited the store, you will already be familiar with my passion for what I do, and my online experience will be no different. To get that happening, It’s involved preparing a large warehouse for stock, a workshop for detailing, and a photo studio. It’s been quite an undertaking. I have been focussed on putting together a selection of furniture and lighting in readiness for the launch of Mode 707 online, and I’m excited about what the future will hold.

I will be sending out a monthly newsletter, which will include new stock releases, and articles that I put together on 20th century design, including architecture. I’m looking forward to continuing to showcase what I consider to be the best in 20th century design, and look forward to hearing from you.
